Shenlong Pumps reminds users of submersible sewage pumps that in order to ensure the normal use and life of submersible sewage pumps, regular inspections and maintenance should be carried out:
1. When the submersible sewage pump is not used for a long time, it should be cleaned and hung up and placed in a ventilated and dry place, taking care to prevent freezing. If placed in water, run for at least 30 minutes every 15 days (not dry grinding) to check its function and adaptability. The motor insulation and fastening screws should be checked at least once a year. If the motor insulation drops, please contact our company’s after-sales service department. If the fastening screws are loose, re-tighten them.
2. Replace the sealing ring: After long-term use in the sewage medium, the gap between the impeller and the sealing ring may increase, causing the flow and efficiency of the pump to decrease. Turn off the switch, lift the pump, remove the bottom cover, and remove it. The sealing ring is equipped with the sealing ring according to the actual size of the impeller mouth ring, and the gap is generally about 0.5mm.
3. After the operation of the submersible sewage pump fails, please eliminate it according to the troubleshooting methods given. If it still cannot be resolved and the cause is not determined, do not dismantle and repair it without permission. You should immediately contact the company’s after-sales service department. And the cable is checked at least once a year, if it is damaged, please replace it
4. The submersible sewage pump has been injected with a proper amount of oil before leaving the factory to lubricate the mechanical seal. The oil should be checked once a year. If you find water in the engine oil, you should drain it, replace the engine oil, replace the gasket, and tighten the screw plug. After three weeks, it must be checked again. If the oil becomes emulsion again, the mechanical seal should be checked and replaced if necessary (contact the after-sales service department of our company).
5. After the operation of the submersible sewage pump fails, please follow the troubleshooting methods given by Shenlong Pumps. If the problem still cannot be solved and the cause cannot be determined, please do not dismantle and repair it without permission. You should contact the company’s after-sales service department immediately. Contact or find a professional to repair.
