Installation points of multistage centrifugal pumps:
The installation position of the multi-stage centrifugal pump should meet the requirements of the allowable vacuum height, and the foundation must be level and stable to ensure that the rotation direction of the power machinery is consistent with the rotation direction of the water pump. When the water pump and the power machine are connected by shafts, ensure that the shaft centers are in the same straight line to prevent vibration and single-sided wear of the bearing during the operation of the unit; if the belt drive is adopted, the shaft centers should be parallel to each other and the belt pulleys should be aligned. If there are multiple units in the same machine room, there should be a distance of more than 800mm between the unit and the unit, and between the unit and the wall. The suction pipe of the horizontal multistage centrifugal pump must be well sealed, and minimize the elbows and gate valves. When filling and diversion, air should be exhausted. Air should not accumulate in the pipe during operation. The water inlet should have a certain submersion depth. The reserved holes on the foundation of the pump should be poured according to the size of the pump.
Analysis and treatment of common failures of multistage centrifugal pumps
Insufficient water pump flow is mostly caused by the leakage of suction pipe and bottom valve; the water inlet is blocked; the depth of the bottom valve is insufficient; the pump speed is too low; the sealing ring or impeller is too worn; the water absorption height exceeds the standard. Check the suction pipe and bottom valve to block the source of air leakage; clean up the sludge or blockage at the water inlet; the depth of the bottom valve must be greater than 1.5 times the diameter of the inlet pipe, increase the depth of the bottom valve; check the power supply voltage, and increase the pump speed , Replace the sealing ring or impeller; lower the installation position of the pump, or replace the high-lift pump. Excessive power consumption. The speed of the pump is too high; the main shaft of the water pump is bent or the main shaft of the water pump is not concentric or parallel to the main shaft of the motor; the pump lift is not suitable; the water pump sucks in sediment or clogging; the ball bearing of the motor is damaged. Check the circuit voltage and reduce the speed of the water pump; correct the main shaft of the water pump or adjust the relative position of the water pump and the motor; select a water pump with a suitable head; clean up mud or blockages; replace the ball bearing of the motor.
The pump body vibrates violently or produces noise. The pump is not installed firmly or the pump is installed too high; the ball bearing of the motor is damaged; the main shaft of the water pump is bent or is not concentric or parallel with the main shaft of the motor. Install the water pump stably or lower the installation height of the water pump; replace the motor ball bearing; correct the bent water pump main shaft or adjust the relative position of the water pump and the motor.
