The working principle of the self-priming pump is: fill the pump casing with water before starting the pump (or there is water in the pump casing itself). After starting, the impeller rotates at a high speed to make the water in the impeller channel flow to the volute. At this time, a vacuum is formed at the inlet, and the water inlet check door is opened. The air in the suction pipe enters the pump and reaches the outer edge through the impeller channel. The self-priming pump is a self-priming centrifugal pump, which has the advantages of compact structure, convenient operation, stable operation, easy maintenance, high efficiency, long life, and strong self-priming ability. There is no need to install a bottom valve in the pipeline, and only need to ensure that the pump body has a quantitative priming liquid before work. Different liquids can use self-priming pumps of different materials.
1. First check whether the bolts are loose everywhere, whether the power cord and plug are in good condition, and the insulation resistance of the motor should be greater than 2 megohms.
2. In order to prevent electric shock accidents, corresponding security measures such as leakage circuit breakers or electric shock protectors must be installed, and reliable grounding must be carried out
3. The operating voltage range of the pump must be between +5% and -12% of the rated voltage, otherwise the service life of the motor will be shortened or the motor will burn out. If the electric pump is used far away from the power source, the power transmission line should be thickened appropriately, otherwise the use voltage will drop and it will not be able to operate.
4. Turn on the power switch, let the pump idling for about 2 minutes, and check whether it starts, runs normally, and rotates correctly.
5. Fix the pump body and use steel pipe or rubber tube (not too soft to avoid flattening) to connect the water inlet and the bottom valve. The bottom valve must be placed perpendicular to the horizontal plane and more than 30cm away from the water bottom to avoid sucking mud and sand.
6. Before using the clean water centrifugal pump and the automatic suction clean water pump for the first time, fill the water storage tank with water. After tens of seconds after power on, the water cannot be automatically discharged, and there is no need to fill the water in future use.
7. Before using the self-priming clean water pump and the automatic self-priming clean water pump pipe for the first time, the water storage tank should be filled with water. After tens of seconds after power on, the water can not be automatically discharged, and there is no need to fill the water in the future.
8. When in use, the motor should be kept dry, pay attention to the drop of the water level, and the bottom valve should not be exposed out of the water surface. When the temperature is lower than 40C. Anti-freezing work should be done to avoid freezing and cracking the pump body.
9. If it is not used for a period of time, drain the water in the pump (self-priming pumps and automatic pumps drain the water in the storage tank), scrub the main parts clean, coat them with anti-rust oil, and place them in a ventilated and dry place for later use.
